Building fasteners are responsible for safety of the structure, and therefore must be made of high
quality materials. Quality is such an important matter so that fasteners are subjected to continu-
ous impact of weather conditions, which can cause corrosion of metal. In case of fasteners for
light constructions of walls and roofs there are two most popular types of corrosion: atmospheric
and galvanic.
ETANCO screws except for traditional zinc coatings are additionally covered with a special co-
ating of gRey.coat type. As a result, they exhibit increased resistance to salt water, chemicals,
high temperatures as well as galvanic corrosion. The quality of the gRey coated screws is compa-
rable to the quality of screws made of stainless steel. Powder.coat provides additional protection
against corrosion and adapts perfectly to the fastened element e.g.: corrugated sheet, sandwich
panel.
